John Wesley said:
"Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.”
Sometimes we can get so busy with doing things that we can forget to pay attention to the good things God is calling us to do. It is Saturday, after all, and there is shopping, playing, family time and chores that are scheduled for today in most people's lives. Some are even working today and have those related tasks to accomplish as well. My hope,is that no matter what activities are ahead of us this Saturday, we can find ways to continue to live into Wesley's words.
Today's Prayer:
Gracious God, help us to be mindful of those around us. No matter what our context or schedule today, help us to do good by being your hands and feet in this world. Let this be not for our glory, but for yours, now and forever more. Amen.
