Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God
who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him
and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
Deuteronomy 7:9
God we thank you for your faithfulness, even in times when we have not reciprocated with that same faithfulness. Thank you God for being bigger than our shortcomings, loving us where we are at, and loving us enough not to leave us where you find us. Strengthen us in Your knowledge and love, that we may be counted among those in the thousand generations. Amen.
