But he was wounded for our transgressions;

he was crushed for our iniquities;

upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,

and with his stripes we are healed.

 

Isaiah 53:5

 

Thanks be to God for His sacrifice on our behalf.  Help us, O Lord, to lean more fully into the healing and peace that this sacrifice wrought for our lives.  Amen.
