Here is today’s prayer:
Merciful God,
we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart.
We have failed to be an obedient church.
We have not done your will,
we have broken your law,
we have rebelled against your love,
we have not loved our neighbors,
and we have not heard the cry of the needy.
Forgive us, we pray.
Free us for joyful obedience,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
-Prayer of Confession for a Service of Word and Table I (BOW 35)

Therefore, they are a teaching element here on the internet that serves to reinforce lessons that are being taught in classes and sermons throughout the Lenten season. Wow, that's exactly what I needed to hear this morning. That is a wonderful prayer. God is awesome.
To remember, that I am not always
thinking of what God needs from me.
To do Gods will not my will. Life
is better when I listen to my Father, who loves me. Thanks be to God! In the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior.
