Goodbye Maximus
Today we sent Maximus (aka Max the neurotic dog) to a new home. We have enjoyed almost 5 years of playfulness and friendship. He was one of the best camping dogs I have ever had. We adopted him at about 2 years old from a shelter in Houston and he was a good dog. He has always done much better with adults than with kids and with Erica considering going back to work and an almost 2 year old in the house, we opted to find him a home with someone that would be able to give him more attention and to make sure that he and Bailey didn't get into it over toys (he had a tendency to be very protective of his).
