Here is today's prayer:
Gracious God, your word teaches us that Paul had learned to be content in all things. Today we ask for that same level of gratitude and contentment in our own lives. Teach us that more is not the answer. Allow us to recognize that gratitude can be had for the little things and the nothings that we have in our lives. Draw us so close to you that we see that our joy and contentment is fulfilled in you alone. We ask this in Christ's name. Amen.
