Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Matthew 6:8

Gracious God, we give thanks that you know us so well that you know our needs before we ask you about them.  Today help us to discern the difference in our hearts between our wants and our needs.  Help us to recognize all the ways you have already met those needs.  God, permit that we may be more focused on the needs of others today and that we would be so attuned to your Spirit's prompting, that we would know how you would use us as vessels to meet the needs of others.  Amen.
